Registration Rules

  • .com.br domains require a Brazilian CNPJ (business tax ID) or CPF (individual tax ID)
  • Domain administrative contacts must have a Brazilian address
  • At least two DNS servers must be configured at registration
  • Domain registration period is 1 year, renewable before expiration
  • Domains can be transferred between registrars
